Anionic Polyacrylamide (APAM)

Anionic polyacrylamide is an efficient chemical additive that significantly enhances the efficiency of water treatment processes, particularly in the areas of flocculation, sedimentation, and solid-liquid separation.
Its unique properties facilitate the efficient aggregation and sedimentation of particles, thereby improving water quality, reducing turbidity, and increasing water clarity.
By adding anionic polyacrylamide during the water treatment process, enterprises can achieve higher treatment efficiency, save costs, and promote sustainable management of water resources.
Utilizing this multi-functional solution ensures optimal results.

Application:

Has been successfully applied in various industries such as chemical engineering, textile, leather processing, etc., and is also widely used in fields like coatings, petroleum, cleaning, food processing and slaughterhouses, metallurgy and electroplating.

Suitable for applications with high consumption of flocculants. Does not contain solvents or surfactants, and the content of volatile organic compounds is extremely low.

Mainly used for treating wastewater containing a large amount of inorganic particles, such as suspended solids, clay, sand, silt or minerals.

Commonly found in municipal sewage treatment plants, mineral processing, coal washing, and construction sites for drainage treatment.

In systems where the particles carry positive or neutral charges, effective separation of solids from liquids is achieved.

Advantages:

High molecular weight can provide a powerful bridging flocculation effect.

It can function effectively within a wide range of pH values (typically 6 - 10).

Promote sedimentation and enhance the clarity of the effluent.

Preparation and Dosage

It is recommended to prepare the solution at a concentration of 0.1% to 0.5%. To ensure complete dissolution, a Venturi effect disperser is recommended for effective dispersion of the product in water. After vigorous stirring for the first few minutes, a further 45 to 60 minutes of slow stirring is required to achieve complete dissolution.

The stability of the product solution depends on various factors (such as the quality of the water used, pH value, temperature, concentration, etc.). It is recommended to prepare and use the solution within a few hours. If the viscosity of the solution decreases, it indicates that the solution has deteriorated. At this point, the solution can still be used, but a larger amount should be used to achieve the expected effect.

The optimal dosage of medication depends on the specific application situation and should be determined on-site.
